SELF DENYING SYLLOGISMS

     If you state,

     "Syllogisms don't apply to anything"

you are intending that this statement be used as:

    "Syllogisms don't apply to anything.
     Exhibit A is a syllogism
Therefore Exhibit A doesn't apply to anything"

The point is that merely MAKING THE STATEMENT syllogisms don't
apply to anything assumes and intends that they do.

People who build their philsophies around self denying statements
are all wind between the ears.
