Of course I exist during sleep, dreams or no.

CONSCIOUSNESS is not a prerequisite of EXISTANCE.
EXISTANCE is a prerequisite of CONSCIOUSNESS.

Of course if I had never been conscious, I would never
have KNOWN I exist. But I exist even if I do not know that I exist.

Hell, there are people who are
conscious all day long and STILL don't know they exist.

Of COURSE it is a word trap. It is a contradiction in terms
to say that absolutes absolutely do not exist.
I am merely pointing out the foolishness of such a position.
