What Nick says seems to make sense.

I just wonder why men become the way they do if women
did not have a major hand in molding them that way?

What woman does not like a macho man?

Sure they SAY they don't like male traits (Andrea Dworkin et al.)
but they sure love it when they need it.

The primary violator of women is not men, but the physical
universe, which is ALL of our primary enemy. Men's machoism should
not be developed to fight other men or other bad guys.

It should be developed to handle and 'fight' the onslaught
of the physical universe.

Possibly some women get into a conflict, in that they WANT
to develope the machoism for this purpose, but then find that their
sons turn it on them or other men or other women's sons.

There is a very offensive page in ADORE that goes as follows.

I KNOW that many of you will find something to take deep
objection to in it, and it contains something to offend everyone.

I don't present it as a statement of MY views, as I am not sure
I want to get into the middle of this one, but it does represent
my classification of OTHERS views and as such, it is my view.

So read it with a grain of salt. And flame away...

                         HERO, VILLIAN, VICTIM.

The DYKES view:

Women are HEROS. Men are VILLIANS. WOMEN are VICTIMS.

The FAGS view:

MEN are HEROS. WOMEN are VILLIANS. MEN are VICTIMS.

The WOMANS view:

MEN are HEROS. MEN are VILLIANS. WOMEN are VICTIMS.

The MANS view:

WOMAN are HEROS. WOMEN are VILLIANS. MEN are VICTIMS.
