     For each band of case there is an "evil circle" one has to break
out of to continue on.

.ce  LIFE LEVELS

     The evil circle of being humanoid and being effect of factors of
life; human emotion and reaction.  Not expanding because one is the
effect of communication barriers, has problems and can't solve them, one
does overts and has to withhold, one gets upset, one has to defend one's
right, one reacts and doesn't know why.  All these things keep one busy
and one doesn't get any further than trying to deal with them.  Becoming
a Life Clear breaks the circle and one can become cause over one's life,
without having to react with these things.

.ce OPERATION LEVELS

     The evil circle of dying and being born again and again.  Being
connected to lots of things that is stopping one from operating and
changing things on a wider scale.  Being stopped by a failure to handle
groups and any higher dynamics.  An Operation Clear will become able to
operate without the body, and to feel confident in perceiving and
operating without the previous connections.

.ce STATIC LEVELS

     The evil circle of having beingnesses and being limited by the
characteristics of those assumed beingnesses.  Being forced to see
things and get things done through beingnesses.  Only has access to
abilities and awarenesses that fit the assumed beingnesses.  Able to
advance only by changing beingnesses or by cleaning up the existing
beingnesses.  Becoming a Static Clear breaks through that and allows one
to have or not have beingnesses and being able to exist and advance
without the use of a beingness or viewpoint.

.ce INFINITY LEVELS

     The evil circle of being just one Static and only being able to be
Source from that Static without knowing all that all the possible
Sources are creating, have created, or will create.  Being dependent on
Existence as a Static, not being conversant with all other
possibilities.  Breaking through to the point of Infinity Clear brings
Total Freedom, consideration of or creation of any possibility of
existence or non-existence without limit.  Any state below that will of
course also be available at choice.

     ((I have a major disagreement with Flemming here.  I believe that
the Conscious Unit is a Co Eternal part of Source.  There is one Source,
but an infinite number of Conscious Units, what he has been calling
thetans or statics.

     These statics have existed forever and will continue to exist
forever.  I do not believe it is feasible to have infinite memory of all
past games and all future games.

     I believe that memory is strictly a single game phenomenon, meaning
that memory can only exist within a single game.  Once that game is
as-ised completely the memory of it is gone as if it had never happened.

     There are of course many sub games within the over all Big Game,
and those sub games may end leaving a firm memory of them for a long
time within the Big Game.  But once the Big Game is gone, the memory is
gone with it.  Games can't vanish though until all players cease playing
it.  If even one player hangs on to the end, the whole game will remain
and others may come in and continue it for even longer.

     As long as a Game persists, all of its memory and knowledge
also persist in the underlying fundamental structure of Source.

     There may also be more than one Big Game and group of thetans
playing games going on at any one time, and Source of course would have
to keep track of all of these too.  At the infinity level one would be
able to access any of these games, and any of the viewpoints of these
games, and of course any of the still extant resident data or memory
persisting in these games either in individual memories or other forms.

     However once a game is reliquished by all players, it is
relinguished forever and nothing remains of it, it is as if it had never
happened.  No knowledge, no learning, no wisdom is kept or permanently
recorded from these games as they get as-ised also.  Besides there is
nothing a static can learn in a game that is not already created from
Source before the game begins.  Thus taking any learning with you is
ridiculous, you created it in the first place, why keep it?

     If you are keeping data, wisdom, learning, growth etc. with you,
then you are still within one Big Game.

     Thus as-isness is complete and final.  Hubbard says that Native
State is Total Knowingness, but he makes it very clear that this is not
the same as totally KNOWING ABOUT everything.  By knowingness is meant
innate potential ability, knowing how to operate without thinking about
it, or having ideas or knowledge or things to think about concerning it.
This is all created later.

     A being can be all knowing when he enters a universe, because the
data is all there, this is a form of Total Know About on a given
universe.  This is what people picture an Omniscient God might be like,
he knows everything and your inner most thoughts etc.

     (Does he know all the digits to pi?)

     (Only if they have been computed in that universe.)

     But a being in Native State has as-ised all mechanical conditions
of existence, including all awareness or consciousness of anything.  So
he is not up there contemplating all this infinite knowledge, he is
sound asleep in an Eternal state of unmanifested potential known as the
peace that passes all understanding.

     He wakes up out of this state knowing how to operate, in other
words he is fully functional without having to learn how to be fully
function, but he doesn't know anything specific yet about anything that
is going on in any particular universe.

     He knows however how to latch into any existing universe at the
time and how to open channels to other beings who might be opening
channels to him.

     Universes are recorded in the holographic structure of Source.  If
such a newly awake being decides to enter such a structure, which he
innately knows how to do without thinking about it, he will then tap
into all the data of that particular universe or space time game stream.
Then he becomes a Total Know Aboutness for that universe.  He can then
choose to Not Know any section or all of that universe, which amounts to
jumping into it, and then proceed with the game of learning and coming
to know about again as if he never knew.

     The Total Knowingness envisaged by Hubbard that a being has when
just waking up out of Native State is a thorough familiarity and
seamless skill with his ability to enter or create universes and engage
in the Not Know and Know About available there in.

     Such a being does not actually Know About anything in those
universes until he actually enters them.

     Hubbard has a scale that goes,

     1.) Native State (KNOW)     Vanishment
     2.) Not Know                AS-ISness
     3.) Know about              ALTER-ISness
     4.) Look                    ISness
     5.) Not Know About          NOT-ISness
     6.) Look                    ISness
     7.) Learn                   ALTER-ISness
     8.) Forget                  NOT-ISness
     9.) Remember                ALTER-ISness
    10.) Occlude                 NOT-ISness

     In 1.) the native state, the thetan has vanished everything.

     In 2.) the Not Know state the thetan has postulated a brand new
as-isness or posted beingness, but it has no significances attached to
it.  It LOOKS like an ashtray, but the thetan has no idea that it is an
ashtray.

     In 3.) the Know About state the thetan then ALTERS the first
postulate of the posted beingness by ADDING TO IT the new and arbitrary
significance that it is an ashtray and that it is used to hold the ashes
of cigarettes.  The thetan thus 'Knows About' the creation and also
causes it to persist in the same breath.  This becomes 4.) the Look
state.  He is looking at a persisting ashtray which he knows all about.

     Now if a thetan does this for ALL of the objects and events in a
space time game stream at once, which he can do at the top, then he
becomes Omniscient in that game.  This is a Total Know Aboutness.

     He can span the entire space time continuum with one great big
LOOK, all space and all time in that game, which must be finite.  I
believe there is no limit to how much space and time a game can have,
but it must be finite.  Many do not agree with this point.

     He then chooses to 5.)  FURTHER Not Know About and even not see all
these things that he Knows About and is Looking at, and this is Not
Isness.  By doing do he reduces himself from an all knowing Creator to a
know nothing Creature.  He knows nothing and he has no 'experience'.  He
is in the soup for real now, '28.0, Apparencies are Reality'.

     This gives him the opportunity to play the game of coming to Know
About 'for the first time' via Learning by Looking.  In this way he
attempts to climb back out of his not-isness and back into his original
Know About and Looking.

     However the Know About that he gains via Learning by Looking is an
alteris of the original Pristine Know About he had before he Not-Ised it
all.  Therefore he only manages to obtain a shallow alter-isness of his
original Know About.

     This he considers hard won Knowledge and he builds civlizations to
protect and spread it.

     This alterisness on the original Pristine Know About has been
offered as an explanation as to why people don't recognize what they
learn once they learn it.  They feel they have never known it before.
Perhaps it is too altered from the original Pristine Know About to
recognize it as familiar.

     On the other hand if he manages to look too directly at the object,
especially shedding all the significances that add up to his Know About
on the object, whether 3.)  Pristine Know About or 7.)  Altered Know
About, he will see it in its 2.)  Not Know state and thus as-is and
vanish it again.

     This is part of why people compulsively put SIGNIFICANCES on all
objects (space time color forms).  They got to know what it is, where it
came from, who made it, why it was created.  These are all just
significances added onto the object after it was created, which
significances are mostly fanciful acts of creation themselves.  If they
didn't, if they just looked at the object naked of all these additions
of significance it would vanish on them and they wouldn't have a game.

     But it works both ways.  If a being has descended too far down into
5.)  Not Know About via his NOT-ISness, he can duplicate the NOT-ISness
by making more of it, until it lifts and he will then have the true
pristine 3.)  Know About back again WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE 7.)
LEARNING CYCLE, BECAUSE HE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT IT IS FROM THE 3.)
PRISTINE STATE.))
